I became a certified birth doula in 2004. My own birth experiences enlightened me to the need of labor support! :o) I am also a certified childbirth educator and teach for Holmes Regional Medical Center, Birth Resources of Brevard, and in the Teen Parent Program in the local high schools. I love empowering women and unveiling the "secret" of childbirth as noted by Laura Stavoe Harm, "There is a secret in our culture, and it's not that childbirth is painful. It's that women are strong."
